The increase in the use of mobile apps was explosive last year, given the coronavirus pandemic and the turn of consumers to the screens of their smartphones to meet most of their needs. Some of them they even played in an online casino. This is evidenced by the annual report of App Annie, according to which the time spent on android applications increased by 25% compared to 2019, reaching 3.3 trillion hours worldwide.

Although almost all categories of applications saw their use increase, the big winners of the year were the applications used by companies in which the increase due to teleworking exceeded 200%.

Even the already popular social networks, as well as the direct communication applications moved up by 20% compared to last year, while both the online shopping applications and the financial applications increased by 25%.
